VERY POSITIVE RESULTS FOR ROBOTICOM AT OTWORLD 2022: CONFIRMATIONS AND NEW PERSPECTIVES
The OTworld trade fair in Leipzig ended on 13 May: after a two-year pandemic, manufacturers, dealers and suppliers of services and technologies dedicated to the field of orthopaedic technical medicine and rehabilitation came together to discover the latest in prosthetics and orthotics.
For Roboticom, these were four days of interesting meetings, with the target of increasingly developing the focus on the orthopaedic sector to meet the growing demand for robotic automation. ORTIS attracted considerable interest and the company returned to its headquarters aware of the very high development potential of this market. This was also confirmed by the selling agreement achieved during the fair for the ORTIS Enterprise System showed at the booth.
Indeed, there are many operators in the sector who perceive an increasing need to evolve their production processes using Computer Aided Manufacturing – CAM. ORTIS responds to the needs of these manufacturers by automating the milling of different materials: starting from a CAD design, created with any software available on the market, ORTIS enables companies to achieve fully automated production of any type of model (positive and negative) for the production of custom-made orthoses and prostheses.
A particularly popular application at the fair was the production of shoelasts and insoles for orthopaedic footwear: the production flexibility of ORTIS makes it possible to significantly increase the company’s output, guaranteeing very high standards of quality and processing precision.
The next Otworld will be held on May 2024: in the meantime, the company thanks all those who visited the booth and confirms that the team is already at work on the possible development suggestions collected at the fair.
